SUE FROST is a founding partner (with Randy Adams and Kenny Alhadeff) of Junkyard Dog Productions, a theatrical producing organization dedicated to the development and production of new musical theatre. Since its inception in 2006, Junkyard Dog has produced Make Me a Song, The Music of William Finn off-Broadway at New World Stages (Drama Desk nom., Outer Critics Circle nom.) and in London at the New Players Theatre, and Party Come Here (by Daniel Goldfarb and David Kirshenbaum) at the New York Music Theatre Festival (subsequent production at the Williamstown Theatre Festival). She is currently in pre-production with two upcoming Broadway shows: Vanities, A New Musical (by Jack Heifner and David Kirshenbaum) and Memphis (by Joe DiPietro and David Bryan). Prior to founding Junkyard Dog, Sue was the Associate Producer at Goodspeed Musicals in East Haddam, CT, where she produced more than 50 new musicals. She has company managed several Broadway shows and tours including A Chorus Line, Dancin' and The Rink, chaired and served on panels for the National Endowment for the Arts, Connecticut Commission for the Arts and Tourism, the Massachusetts Cultural Council, the Philadelphia Theatre Institute and the TCG/Pew National Theatre Artist Residency Program. A graduate of Smith College, Sue is past president of the National Alliance for Musical Theatre and currently serves as a Tony nominator.
