ROBERT WHITEHEAD In nearly 50 years, Mr. Whitehead has produced a remarkable number of memorable Broadway plays, including his first, Medea starring Judith Anderson and John Gielgud and five New York Drama Critics' Award winners: The Member of the Wedding, The Waltz of the Toreadors, The Visit, A Man for All Seasons, and Betrayal. Among other notable productions are Crime and Punishment, Bus Stop, Mrs. McThing, A Touch of the Poet, The Skin of Our Teeth, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, and two plays with Katharine Hepburn, A Matter of Gravity and The West Side Waltz. He has produced eight plays by Arthur Miller including A View from the Bridge, After the Fall, Incident at Vichy, The Price, and the revival of Death of a Salesman. Mr. Whitehead directed Medea, which starred his wife, Zoe Caldwell, with Dame Judith Anderson playing the Nurse. Also, he directed Miss Caldwell in Lillian. More recently, he produced A Few Good Men, Park Your Car in Harvard Yard and Arthur Miller's Broken Glass.
