PAM ARCIERO is Artistic Director of the ONeill Puppetry Conference in Waterford CT. She was one of the founding Guest Artists at the Puppetry Conference and directed the Emerging Artists program within the Conference for five years before being named artistic director of the Conference in 2002. Arciero is a principal puppeteer with Sesame Street and performs numerous characters, most notably Grundgetta Grouch. She has worked on numerous children’s programs, including Between the Lions, Allegras Window, Eureekas Castle and The Great Space Coaster. Her stage credits are highlighted by a run with Little Shop of Horrors at the Orpheum Theater in New York, in addition to directing Elmos World Live and Oscars Big Game Show at Sesame Place and Disneys Wahoo Wagon at El Capitan Theater in Los Angeles. Film credits include Little Monsters, Extreme Measures, Follow That Bird and Muppets Take Manhattan. She holds a graduate degree in Puppetry from the University of Connecticut.
