LISA KRON is an actress, writer, and solo performer. She is currently at work on a new play entitled Well, which begins previews on March 10, 2006 at the Longacre Theatre. Her solo show 2.5 Minute Ride, which premiered in New York at the Joseph Papp Public Theater, received an Obie Award, an L.A. Dramalogue Award, a GLAAD Media Award, and Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle nominations. Her work has also been presented by New York Theatre Workshop, Yale Rep., La Jolla Playhouse, ART (Cambridge), Trinity Rep, Baltimore Center Stage and the Barbican (London) to name a few. As an actress, she appeared most recently in Paul Rudnick's The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told. She is a founding member of the Obie and Bessie Award-winning theatre company, The Five Lesbian Brothers.
