GEORGE GRIZZARD is currently performing the role of "Charlie" in Edward Albee's Seascape. Lincoln Center Theare: A Delicate Balance (Tony Award), A.R. Gurney's Ancestral Voices. Broadway: Judgment at Nuremberg; the role of Nick in the original company of Mr. Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?; Tony-nominated performances in The Disenchanted and Big Fish, Little Fish; Neil Simon's California Suite; and more than a dozen other plays in which he created roles by Arthur Miller, Robert Anderson and Lanford Wilson, among others. Most recent Off-Broadway: Beautiful Child (Vineyard). Other theater over the past 50 years: title roles in Hamlet (Guthrie Theater's inaugural production), Cyrano, Richard III and Henry V; "Big Daddy" in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Kennedy Center, 2004); and "Cap'n Andy" in the Canadian and London companies of Show Boat. Film includes Advise and Consent, Seems Like Old Times, From the Terrace, Warning Shot and Bachelor Party. Television: numerous movies and miniseries including The Oldest Living Graduate (Emmy Award), John Adams in the PBS Bicentennial miniseries The Adams Chronicles (Emmy nomination), The Deliberate Stranger, Scarlet, Queen, Attica and Hallmark's Caroline?; series guest appearances ranging from The Twilight Zone to The Golden Girls, Murder She Wrote, 3rd Rock From the Sun and Law & Order (as Attorney Arthur Gold).
