M. EDGAR ROSENBLUM (Executive Director, Theatre for a New Audience) is involved in all aspects of the theatre's operations, including development, fiscal planning, marketing, strategic planning, management and board development. He is the former Executive Director of the Long Wharf Theatre where, during his tenure, many productions extended their life to Broadway, International touring, television and Off-Broadway. That expansion, devised by Mr. Rosenblum, enabled many of those productions to be seen by a larger audience throughout the world and were recognized with Obies, Tonys, Pulitzer Prizes and Drama Desk Awards. He is the former Chairman of the Board of the American Arts Alliance, founding President of the National Corporate Theatre Fund and former President of the League of Resident Theatres and has acted as a consultant to many theatres and agencies in the United States and abroad.
